Please use this form to submit service projects.
Please remember that service for specific organizations can only be done once per year (including ministries at CtR).
The works of mercy refer to individuals or groups that are unable to or struggle to provide for themselves. For example, serving at the Houston Food Bank counts as feeding the hungry. Serving food at a fundraiser or concession stand would not be considered a work of mercy.
If you are ever in doubt about a project, please contact us!
**Please keep a copy of your service forms.

It is 6 projects total for two-year Confirmation Preparation: 3 projects for Confirmation I + 3 projects for Confirmation II.
Participation in a club or group does not count as service (student council, scouts, honor societies, etc.). However, service done with that club/group might be considered service if it meets the Works of Mercy Guidelines or is in direct service to the CtR Parish Community.
Generally, school fundraisers would not apply towards the Confirmation service requirement as they are a requirement of the organization you are a part of and have the primary focus of raising funds, not of Christian service. Exceptions may apply; please contact us
While those are definitely valuable service opportunities, for the purpose of your Confirmation formation, you are asked to only complete projects that fall under the Works of Mercy Guidelines or are in direct service to the CtR Parish Community.
Any liturgical ministry (greeters, altar servers, choir, etc.) or religious education ministry (Vacation Bible School, Catholic Faith Camp, Catechist Aide, Assisting with Sacrament Formation, Teen Mentor with RCIA) are great options, as well as service for Parish Community Events (Fish Fry, Spring Festival, and others). When in doubt, please ask!
