All students in 7th and 8th-grade seeking faith formation at CtR would attend Rise, which takes place from 7-8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. They will be all together in a large group and split into smaller groups each week. There is also a Home-based Catechesis option.
All students in Confirmation I or Confirmation II would attend Encounter (9-11th grade) which takes place from 6:45 - 8:30 p.m. on Sundays. They will be split into small groups by grade, school and biological sex.
We are not allowed to offer Home-based Catechesis for Confirmation I or II as per diocesan policies. All preparation must be done by the parish. Exceptions to this rule are only offered to Confirmation I students who, if attending a Catholic school, are excused from class time but must attend a retreat and are encouraged to attend classes to stay connected with the community.
Camino is a program of Christ the Redeemer Youth Ministry for high school students who have already been confirmed (9-12th Grade) and are ready to go deeper. Camino consists of small groups who meet weekly to pray, share, study and go deeper in their faith. All the Camino groups will come together once a month to pray, share, and for fellowship. They meet as a small group at a time and day that works for them. We have small groups that meet at different times Sunday-Thursday. Groups do a variety of different things depending on the small group.
